The 12-Fiber 1x2 way Y splitter cable is a solid choice for handling 100 Gigabit Ethernet applications with ease, all while saving you crucial space in the data center and telecommunications networking room.
The MTP/MPO connector's revolutionary design was conceived with the user in mind. This cable comes in a "Type A" Straight-through polarity scheme.
Using OM3 fiber optics, you are able to transmit data over a 1Gbps link with a 50/125 micron glass fiber over a distance of up to 1000 meters at a wavelength of 850nm, and over a distance of up to 550 meters at 1300nm. For a 10Gbps link, you can transfer data over a distance of up to 300 meters at 850nm.

How to use the 2 way MPO Y splitter cable?

MPO connectors can be male (with pins) or female (with corresponding guiding holes).
Mating only male connectors with female connectors is primordial to avoid damages (male-on-male) and ensure continuity.
The role of the alignment pins is to ensure that fibers are facing each other perfectly.
